Easy Smoked Salmon

2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons salt[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 to 2 tablespoons liquid smoke
Optional: Capers and lemon slices[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”7429″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

  1. Place salmon, skin side down, in an 11×7-in. baking pan coated with cooking spray. Sprinkle it with brown sugar, salt and pepper. Drizzle with liquid smoke. Cover and refrigerate for 4-8 hours
  2. Drain salmon, discarding liquid. Bake, uncovered, at 350° until fish flakes easily with a fork, 35-45 minutes. Cool to room temperature. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. If desired, serve with capers and lemon slices.
